The MANifesto

Connecting men to themselves, their work and their worlds.

About The MANifesto

The MANifesto is a man-focussed connection platform.

The MANifesto is a movement that empowers men by providing a safe, supportive space to navigate their unique challenges. Rooted in the belief that men are not broken women, the Manifesto celebrates the strengths of masculinity while addressing the pressures, stigmas, and emotional burdens men carry. I’m for men, offering tools, guidance, and a sense of community to help them thrive personally, professionally, and socially.

I’m Mari Lee, a sense-maker and human facilitator. I’m the mom of just boys. I only have brothers. For the past two decades in my business career, 95% of my clients were men, and in my current counselling practice, I empower many men. I coordinate The Manifesto.

Why do we call it The MANifesto?

A manifesto usually accepts a previously published opinion or public consensus or promotes a new idea with prescriptive notions for making changes the author believes should be made. It is often political, social, or artistic in nature, sometimes revolutionary, but may present an individual’s life stance. It is a public declaration of intentions, opinions, objectives, or motives as one issued by a government, sovereign, or organisation. It’s a mission statement or other document written and disseminated by an individual or group to enumerate or expound the guiding principles and beliefs that inform their actions.

Supporting Men’s Mental Wellbeing.

You don’t have to carry it alone.

The MANifesto offers counseling, coaching, and peer support for men navigating stress, identity, work, relationships, and emotional wellbeing. We believe men deserve a safe space to be seen, heard, and healed.

How we support you:

  • One-on-one counseling: Confidential sessions to explore thoughts, feelings, and growth.
  • Group support: Connect with other men, share stories, build accountability.
  • Workplace wellness programmes: Practical interventions where men are already working and living.

The MANifesto services:

Men can’t solve these problems on their own, and they shouldn’t have to.

The individual man:

We do individual and group coaching and counselling with men. We know that men would rather seek help in their workplace, to resolve work pressures and relational issues at work, than in their personal lifes.

Men in their workplace:

Comprehensive statistics comparing the prevalence of women’s empowerment programs to those specifically designed for men within businesses are limited. However, existing data indicates a significant emphasis on women’s empowerment initiatives, with comparatively fewer programs tailored for men. This is the shift we need to make: It is not women or men; it is both!

Men in society:

The aim is to change the societal narrative about men.
